Writer Profiles

RICK STOKES lives in the Tasman region of the New Zealand’s South Island, on a wild block of land in the process of being reclaimed from the scrub that covered it before the family recently purchased it. He and his wife, Susanne, have seven children, all home-educated. Rick has held a longtime desire to write something worthwhile in print – a bit of a bucket-list goal, having written and recorded songs for four-or-so music CDs. Books, and especially ones by Christian authors, have been hugely formative in his life, and he is looking forward to contributing something worthwhile back to the community. He has lived in quite a variety of places and several states of mind, and has had many opportunities, both good and bad, to learn how to keep on walking the Christian walk. Hopefully, some of these lessons will make their way onto the pages he writes.
