Writer Profiles

LORRAINE DITTRICH migrated with her husband and two teenage girls to New Zealand in 1994, leaving their recently married son behind. Over time Lorraine was invited by various Christian Women groups as speaker. For some years she wrote articles for the monthly magazine of the Reformed Churches of New Zealand. One of her poems was published in a book to honour the survivors of the 2011 earthquake. She had not published a book yet but had started on a devotional manuscript which she hopes will be finished sometime next year. Her husband of 50 years is retiring early in 2021 and she hopes to spend more time on her writing as they enjoy a less hectic life.
