GOD OUR FATHER: Are You Divorcing Me Too? We often tell children that we have a God whose love is constant and unending. But what if a child experiences the breaking down of a relationship? How are parents to explain “love” that ends in divorce? In this book “God our Father, are you divorcing me, too?”, a boy struggles with confusing emotions like despair, anger and sadness over news of his parents’ divorce. He tries to describe these feelings using images very familiar to him, as he kneels in prayer, trying to seek answers. This book encourages children to ask God questions and openly express their BIG emotions.It prompts courageous conversations between divorcing parents and their children about the pain and reality of divorce and the constancy of God’s love.
