DANIEL’S PROPHECY OF 70 WEEKS AND THE COVENANT. Daniel’s Prophecy of 70 Weeks has been the source of much controversy among Bible scholars… In this refreshing lay-person’s interpretation—written from a Messianic point of view—the writer argues for the complete fulfilment of Daniel’s prophecy within the stipulated 490 year period, thus refuting Dispensationalist teaching that a final seven year Covenant for the Jews is yet to be fulfilled. The Jeremiah Code is the name given to the process of searching the scriptures to find the hidden clues to the origin and identity of the mysterious “un-named” Covenant mentioned in Daniel 9:27. A close examination of the writings of Old Testament Prophets, and New Testament Apostles, leads to the firm conclusion that all of the requirements for the salvation of the Jews were fulfilled by Jesus Christ through the Covenant promises contained in Daniel’s Prophecy of 70 Weeks.
