Rob Yule
// WriterROB YULE is a retired Presbyterian minister. He began his ministry as ecumenical chaplain at Victoria University in the 1970s, served churches at Hornby, Christchurch, St. Albans, Palmerston North and Greyfriars, Auckland, and was Presbyterian Moderator in 2000-2002. Long interested in Jewish-Christian relations and the Jewish roots of the Christian faith, Rob was involved with Keston College NZ supporting Jews and Christians in the Soviet Union, and helped found both the NZ Branch of the International Christian Embassy and Prayer for Israel (NZ). He was a founding member of the Marsden Cross Trust Board. Rob played a key role in charismatic renewal in the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand. His latest book, involving seven years of research, is Wind in a Thousand Paddocks: The Charismatic Renewal Movement in Aotearoa New Zealand, 1950-2020 (forthcoming).
