Robyn Cotton// Writer
ROBYN COTTON is a wife, a mother and a daughter. After growing up in South Taranaki and studying at Massey University in Palmerston North, she travelled to the UK on the great “O.E.” before returning to settle in New Zealand. Robyn has enjoyed a long career in innovation beginning in the dairy industry before consulting across industry sectors. In recent years she has discovered her liking for governance and is currently Vice-Chair for the board of International Needs New Zealand, a Christian organisation. Inspired by her own experiences, she began to explore her interest in creative writing and A Skylark Flies is her first novel. Robyn is also passionate about photography, travel, NZ bush, squash and sailing—her favourite past-time is spending time cruising New Zealand’s beautiful Hauraki Gulf.
