JANET POINTON was born in Wimbledon, London but has spent most of her life in New Zealand. She is married and now has seven grandchildren. Janet trained as a science technician and both Janet and her husband, Dennis, have an interest in all aspects of science which included building a 6-inch reflector telescope. The study of science led them to realise God was real which in turn altered everything. Janet has been a member of NZ Christian Writers since 2002 and was on the committee for several years. In recent years, Janet has studied at the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies and has gained diplomas in both Book Editing and Novel Writing.

A Man Called Adam

A MAN CALLED ADAM is a book for young adults and follows the progress of a man with memory loss, brought on by a scientific experiment. He has the help of a persistent and ambitious journalist, Gemma, who follows Adam from Waiheke Island in Auckland to the UK and in the process becomes a target herself. Published in 2008.

A Matter of Choice

A MATTER OF CHOICE is a children’s book about a young boy who moves from his parent’s farm to stay with relatives in the city. He finds himself out of his depth when he becomes involved with a group of boys with anti-social behaviour. The turning point comes when Mark is given a Gideon Bible and discovers something about the writer. Published in 2008.

Murphy’s Law

MURPHY’S LAW is also set in Auckland. Carole is a science technician in a large chemical company who is coerced into working as a temporary secretary, which causes all kinds of difficulties. This is a light-weight romance. Published in 2009.
