HEATHER VINCENT lives in Tauranga with her husband of 47 years, Brian. She is a SPELD tutor who teaches students with learning disabilities. They have 2 daughters and 4 grandsons. Their son David died in 2002 of Muscular Dystrophy. Because this disability has affected three generations of her family Heather was inspired to write her story so that it might be an encouragement to others who share a similar journey. Hence her book, It’s All Right Mum!, was published by Daystar in 2004. Heather has been a member of NZ Christian Writers since then and has entered numerous competitions. She’s also written articles for various magazines, for example, The Encourager, put out by Elevate Christian Disability Trust). It’s All Right Mum! was converted into an e-book with Kindle in 2013. Heather is an avid reader and lover of New Zealand history and family genealogy. At the moment she is researching and writing her family history with the aim to convert it into a novel. Her husband Brian is a gifted singer and has written several of his own songs. He recently produced his first CD, He Guards My Soul.
